Accommodation at the Convention
Leadbeater Chambers (LBC):
Leadbeater Chambers (LBC) has been renovated. There are 50 furnished rooms with each room having two beds, a bath-toilet, and a small pantry. Top floor rooms have a/c, other rooms have fans. The beds have a provision for mosquito netting. A chair, a bedside table, a fixed table, towels, and bedsheets will be provided. Hot water is available throughout the day through solar panels installed on the LBC roof. Breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner will be available for the registered delegates in the dining hall close by.
Reservations: Delegates may indicate their room preferences, like a ground floor or any floor, in the Registration Form. However, allotment of a specific room to a delegate will be at the discretion of the Convention Committee.
New Quadrangle (NQ):
The other accommodations are listed on a separate map-page, click HERE.
All accommodations have been repaired, upgraded and decongested so that the delegates can experience a more comfortable stay at TS Adyar during the International Convention. Care has been taken not to overcrowd the accommodation and hence not more than 2-8 cots / beds have been accommodated in each room, depending on the size of the room and the number of toilets available on that floor. Rooms come with cots, bedding, sheets, pillows, towels, and there is one electric geyser for each bathroom in that accommodation (with a few exceptions).
Reservations: Delegates are welcome to indicate their accommodation preferences in the registration form; however, this choice cannot be guaranteed and the actual accommodation allotted will be decided and communicated by the Convention Officer after due consultations with the Convention Committee by the first week of December.
